Great review paper on the carbon cycle from the entire Arctic! The authors show that carbon emissions from Arctic inland waters (262 Tg C) offset the terrestrial carbon sink (–195 Tg C), a finding consistent with the conclusion of our paper (10.1126/sciadv.adp0024).
