UK govts made the rich richer.

Billionaire wealth is 10 times larger than in 1990, built on speculation, inheritance, exploitation & regressive taxation.

16m Britons live in poverty. Real average wage unchanged since 2008.

Can't rebuild economy without redistribution. Increase taxes on the rich.

Editorial: Without bold reform which makes the rich pull their weight, rising inequality risks eroding public trust and fracturing social stability

Never take seriously those who ridicule low income people for having a smartphone or laptop.

“If they’re so poor how did they buy an iPhone???”

Because they’re trying to escape poverty, not the 1700s, genius. If you think basic tech access is unnecessary or a luxury, survive a month without it.

Mental health awareness matters to all. Therapy is brave and mature. But airing intimate relationship details publicly, right after a therapy breakthrough, feels theatrical, crass and unkind. Unless your intentions are unscrupulous, healing needs quiet grace. P1/2

For many 15/16 year olds, school ends today as study leave begins. From little feet on the naughty step in Reception to sitting exams and making big choices, it’s gone in a flash. Grateful I was there for every moment. Wouldn’t trade it for the world. ♥️

Students part way through a degree left in limbo. Threatens university survival.

Dictators always assault universities, critical thinking. Research already censored, depts shut, books banned.

Silence from Congress.

It has been blocked since 1989; still banned in the EU; unsafe.

How will it be blocked when it is common in the US? Who will test? Why is UK lowering food standards?

It’s easy to put your feelings aside for someone struggling with their mental health, telling yourself they need patience and care. But no one should have to endure hurt just to keep someone else afloat. Struggles don’t excuse mistreatment. Your well-being matters too.

Tax the super-rich? Unthinkable. Cut disability support? Sensible.
A 2% wealth tax could raise £24bn, yet we're cutting disability benefits instead. Who are we protecting?

Some of the most toxic people I have ever met in the mental health industry are considered "experts" in their field-- & I've personally watched those "experts" behave unethically & unkindly.

Don't get dazzled by a resume' or reputation. Focus on the results you want & need.
