Thank you @GeneticsGSA for a spectacular conference last week! At #TAGC24 I gave my first talk at an international conference, unexpectedly reunited with old friends, and met so many great scientists who's excitement for science and learning was contagious 🦠

There aren't many scientific communities in which two giants in the field (Trudi Schüpbach and Eric Wieschaus here) happily take pictures with undergraduates (here @sofiamendezlopez.bsky.social from our lab). The fly community is the best community #TAGC24.
