I think these splits in the state are very important. Not because local police or mayors will save us from Trump or ICE, because their conflicted position could be put to use in the context of a wide militant opposition in the streets

I think these splits in the state are very important. Not because local police or mayors will save us from Trump or ICE, because their conflicted position could be put to use in the context of a wide militant opposition in the streets

I think we are six to nine months out before the fascists actually consolidate the full state apparatus and become quite hard to defeat. Between now and then, the regime could unravel quite quickly, and some push by large numbers against ICE on the streets could play a crucial role.

I rarely share organizations in Gaza because it’s too hard to verify that they are doing the work they say they are but I know multiple people who were able to evacuate through the people working on this fund who are funding trips out of Gaza City (it’s $2100 a trip for 16 people).
