So,as a little thought-experiment, tell me something about the United Kingdom that works well and is actually quite impressive. I am not trying to sound like some boosterish politician. This infuriates me no end. 6 Music would be hugely improved by removing these tacky hourly tabloid-level headlines. At the very least have an optional news-free 6 Music stream where the news bulletin is replaced by a random Half Man Half Biscuit track.
I rant about this a lot but I can’t for the life of me understand why BBC 6 Music News gives a daily update of how many people crossed the channel in small boats yesterday
