It's tube agate! This is one of the rarest forms of agate that is found in my old hunting grounds and it turns out that I found some 🥲

Ooh, this is a good one! Had a, thankfully rare, rock slip in the saw so I finished that cut manually(with a chisel)... 😃

Yesterday's little batch of petrified wood cabochons! This material is the most wood-like petrified wood I've seen. You can see grain, weathering and rings!

To my jewelry making friends: if you're bezel setting a cabochon, do you like a clean line between the dome and the shoulder(basically where the top edge of the bezel is) or blended so it's basically one arc to the back of the cab?

To my jewelry making friends: if you're bezel setting a cabochon, do you like a clean line between the dome and the shoulder(basically where the top edge of the bezel is) or blended so it's basically one arc to the back of the cab?
