It’s starting to feel like martial law with troops being sent into city after city. Trump announced on social media that he’s deploying forces to Portland, escalating his campaign of targeting Democrat-led cities with military presence.

Absolutely this. We don't "hold all the cards", and never did except in the fanatical and fantastical view of swivel-eyes loons such as Frost, Gove, Farage, Johnson and Braverman.

A reminder for today: trade offs exist. It’s fantasy land (Westminster) to pretend they don’t. Moreover Britain isn’t all powerful- to get what we want, we have to give. It’s also worth remembering that parts of the TCA were designed to be renegotiated and was not an end point.

I had to go to A&E and was looked after by some wonderful people, many were what Starmer calls “foreign labour”.
I apologised and thanked them for all they do, but one Englishman got angry with a nurse bc she pronounced his name Hadrian, not Adrian.
