I finally got around to reading this duology by Ally North. If you haven't read them yet, bump them up toward the top of your TBR. They are fantastic.

Due to farm chores, I am a bit behind posting about a couple of recent ARC reads. Twice Bound by @saharaathenalane.bsky.social and Where Trust Leads Us by @katietrappauthor.bsky.social Both books have a wide variety of rep, good story telling and good spice. Give them a read!

Market farming season is creeping up on us. Had to pause the ARC and beta reading to get some fertilizer on the garlic while the weather is decent. We have just over 5200 cloves planted this year. #gardening

I recently finished an ARC of The Witch of Versailles by @byjessicamason.bsky.social and enjoyed a deep dive into 1600s France, Louis XIV, and some crafty, herbalist witches. The FMC is driven and mission-oriented. Good Sapphic rep and lots of historical immersion. Available February 18th.

I just finished A Tide of Treason by
A. B. Daniels-Annachi. This book is not my usual genre, but the world building and storycraft were excellent and I devoured the book. Lots of action, good queer rep, and a bit of spice.

I am queer, Jewish, neurodivergent, a veteran, a farmer, former LEO, and posses a wide range of skills, some I hope to never have to use. I am also Gen-X, menopausal, and just really fucking tired…of everything. My existence is its own resistance, and I am not going anywhere. Bring it on.

I just finished an ARC of Song for You by @rochellewolfauthor.bsky.social , a sweet sapphic novella w/ diverse, artsy folks, supportive friends, low angst, familiar side characters from their other books. and happiness. It comes out late February and should go on your TBR!

Merry Christmas Eve to those who celebrate.

It’s been an audiobook kind of week. I enjoyed Merry Weihnachten by E. J. Noyes @zgrokit.bsky.social -narrated by Abby Craden @abbycraden.bsky.social and Finding Molly Parsons by Alyson Root @alysonrootauthor.bsky.social -narrated by Sadie Provost

I read Sleigh Bells Ring by @alysonrootauthor.bsky.social a few days ago and followed with the audiobook. Fun cast, banter, positive family, and thoughtfully weaves in a character with a TBI. The audiobook put the story in 3D and upped the enjoyment. Grab the book, audio or both now!

I finished this holiday novella by @stephanieshea.bsky.social last night. I liked how the FMCs were invested in their relationship and appreciated the work they put into themselves and each other. An enjoyable holiday read, for sure. #sapphicbooks

Clementine would prefer I just turn the bedroom light back off and let her get back to doing cat stuff. The Grande Dame is not amused.

Because we run a farm, a lot of our ‘reading’ is done, while working, via audiobook. Looking over our household account for a re-listen, I noticed it showed 718 audiobooks in the library, 430 (59.8%) being #sapphic….. Not bad, but we’ll probably up that percentage a bit by the end of the year. 😎

Greetings-I’m Linda. My wife & I run a small farm in Oregon. We focus on garlic, tomatoes and peppers. In the off-season, I work on beta & ARC reads (mostly #sapphic), add to my TBR pile and try to rein in the ADHD and not buy a zillion new seeds for next year. I’m still learning this platform. 🧄🍅🌶️😎
