I hate when people are who are also disabled put their internalized ableism on to me. Just because you are disabled doesn’t mean you are not ableist. Every disabled person functions differently. That needs to be accepted and respected.

Give your money to trans people directly. Flood their Venmos. Top out their fundraising campaigns. If you know someone connected to mutual aid, give them your money and tell them to use it as they see fit. Cover rent and materials for a group that needs you. Put your money where your mouth is.
donating to national 501c3s is cool but what if you donated to your local trans support spaces that don’t have the reach to get millions to spend on advertising to get millions more

This is something that i remember being talked about a lot as a child who grew up in/near more rural areas as far back as the 80s. Whenever a Walmart would open near or around small towns they’d suck the life out of them like a vampire no matter what region or stage. Every single time without fail
