If we're talking about bias, why do BBC politics programmes, from Politics Live to the Laura Kuennsberg Show, still always begin with a look at the newspaper front pages, which are overwhelmingly biased in one direction. Helps frame the entire news agenda and debate in their favour

I saw a house mouse foraging for seeds amongst cosmos seed heads in my #garden today. I’ve heard this mouse many times at night, but I managed to see it in daylight finally. #autumn #mammal #uk

Visited RHS Wisley today by coach. It was lovely to see all the autumn colours. Even sat into the odd talk, and visit tropical greenhouses. I had to treat myself to some plants to bring home.

Landlord has accepted an offer on the house. Anyone know of good properties (either 1 bed or house shares) open for rent around December in #Brighton or surrounds?

A wasted opportunity to interview the prime minister on what has been done and where we are going as a country. #BBCLaurak thinks we are only interested in how popular Starmer is as a politician and immigration.

The people who brought you Brexit on a promise of ‘control’ now threaten civil unrest and frothing racism as govt policy…
For love of god can we just stop listening to anything they have to say. They represent nothing but inadequacy and failure. Surely our country can do better than this.

I've just counted 3 #butterflies using the Big Butterfly Count app. I do like taking part in these citizen science projects. It helps them collect valuable data cheaply and from all over the UK.

I’m not a Liberal Democrat, but Ed Davey smashed it on BBC Breakfast this morning. About how expensive gas set the price of cheaply generated #renewableenergy, and how #Farage is not held to account for being a finger pointer with no policy. 👏 @eddavey.libdems.org.uk

The #Worthing Fringe #Carnaval Procession is this Saturday 14th June. It starts at Coast at 2pm and ends at Spun Records at 4 or 4:30 where Portland Rd is closed. There will be three bands, maybe some dancing, and some fun for sure. Get your #samba vibe on. 💃

I removed 6 paving slabs to plant an Apple tree. While clearing the stones and roots, I found a number of small items quite deep. Shells, glass medicine bottle, terracotta pot fragments, a fine cup handle and bones. I hope they are not human. 🤔

I had #dental surgery yesterday and they took a photo when they lifted my gum and exposed the bone. I know this sounds odd, but when do you get a chance to see a photo of part of your own skull? 😅
