There’s a quite the wide range in opinions on grackles. Personally, I’m okay with them. They look cool and, at least mine, are fairly polite and wait their turn. Maybe I’m in the lucky percentage here? I also only get two of them.

An American bitten is a medium sized heron like bird with a light coloration and dark streaks all over the body that mimic reeds. It has green-ish legs and slightly darker brown back along with a small black steak on its neck. It is standing with its head lifted and looking right in a “field” of reeds.

Saw this goofy little bird a couple weeks back for the first time.
Never thought I would see an American woodcock with their hard-to-find-ness, was very pleasantly surprised.
