this is why you gotta call your senators even if they aren’t part of the ‘cave’ group - we could still stop this if they realize they have to do this by themselves, with no cover from anyone else
6/ with all the political damage and opposition demoralization that goes with that. Also I suspect - though I can’t be sure - that the cave group probably isn’t ready to do this with no cover at all. Final point, I made crystal clear as march was unfolding that the whole thing was playacting.

Lived experience is actually important! Elected officials who've never worried about the cost of groceries or rent or how to pay for childcare can't possibly deeply understand how to make it work! These fundamental needs are why I'm running!

damn. religious freedom, although usually coded as "chrisitian supremacy," was the one domain that the gop swore to maintain (human rights had already been pared down to the bare minimum. i guess this is the final nail in the coffin)
