Border Patrol and ICE are currently arresting and stealing our community members off the streets in Charlotte. Donald Trump is single-handedly responsible for this heinous actions. PLEASE report any activity you see. And know that our party stand with ALL immigrant communities.

What happened in Indiana this week was huge.

Much bigger than just two House seats.

Mike Pence, Mitch Daniels and a broad democracy coalition stopped the mid-decade election rigging…in a GOP-dominated state.

A HUGE win!!!! And a huge defeat for Vance and Trump.

20.8M more Americans now live in states where Dems have the power to build a firewall against Tr*mp's fascist federal overreach! VA elected 17 Dems for blue trifecta; MN held Senate & House blue; MS flipped 3 seats to break Repub Senate supermajority; and IA flipped a Senate seat to do the same!

We LOVE data too! Thanks for ALL you do @pwcdanica.bsky.social.
Also: I was annoyed provisional ballots weren't reallocated back to precincts like early in-person early ballots and mail-in absentee ballots (regular and PE), so we passed my bill SB 1044 this year to do that.
So now you can see provisional vote totals by precinct.

Fun story from 2017. When I first met @pwcdanica.bsky.social it was at an event when I was barely 18. I showed her my predictions for the House of Delegates which had her in a Likely D/Solid D race. She disagreed and said she was in a Toss-Up.

She won by 8.

Six of the elections follow a court order for the State to draw more majority Black districts.

I'm honored to earn the endorsement of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. As Delegate, I'll proudly stand with them in their fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and strong apprenticeship programs.

When I wrote the book “Laboratories of Autocracy,” based on how lawless and undemocratic Ohio has become,
some thought I was overstating.

Nope.

This was it.
My day yesterday:

10 am: teach election law class about the shameful history of legislative districts drawn to dilute/suppress urban voters

10 pm: see the new proposed Ohio map, and what the Ohio GOP wants to do to Cincinnati

Virginia officially surpasses 2021 early vote

This will be most early vote for a non-Presidential election in Virginia history

Expecting around 200K more including mail up until Election Day

Last day of in-person early voting is tomorrow

97K in 2021 and curious if we hit that

And why now, more than ever, #ElectionsMatter and #ItStartswithStates! Only Dem-controlled states can/will fight against Tr*mp/MAGA's federal attacks. When Sister District Project started in 2017, we had only 6 Dem trifectas—today we've nearly tripled that w/ 15.

Let's keep it going with Virginia!
Rigging direct democracy…
All ballot measures in Missouri currently require a majority vote statewide, but a GOP proposal would require citizen-led initiatives to also win majorities in each of the state’s eight congressional districts.

My opponent, Delegate David Owen, has a dangerous record on public safety.

Unlike David Owen, I'll proudly stand with law enforcement and work tirelessly to keep us safe — which is why I'm endorsed by the Virginia Police Benevolent Association.

Yes!!! And why now, more than ever, focusing on state legislative elections is so vital. When 23X more laws are passed by states than Congress...to protect our freedoms—like to be free of preventable diseases & politicized health mandates—Dem trifectas are key! h/t @sisterdistrictsf.bsky.social

Voters are giving Dems unprecedented success in 2025! SDP volunteers supported Xp Lee's MN win—our 4th victory so far—building on our work to elect IA's Catelin Drey to end the Repub's state senate supermajority, along w/ VA wins for Kannan Srinivasan & JJ Singh to protect reproductive freedoms!

All of this!!!

So proud of @mallorymcmorrow.bsky.social a candidate Sister District Project back in 2018! A reminder that one of the best reasons to support state legislative races, they're the Democratic pipeline for higher office—Obama, Carter & about half of all Presidents started in States...
Proud to have you on this team, @chokwepitchford.bsky.social Let’s do good work.
