Look Back was about art, but it was also somehow one of the most accurate depictions I've ever seen of what it feels like to be a 14 and in love with a girl for the first fime.

Yesterday's thinking about Shaddiq made me realize that he, too, is a Cagalli to me, and suddenly I feel at great peace and more sympathetic towards different viewpoints

I think one reason I feel so strongly protective of Shaddiq is how much it feels like he was written with contempt for the archetype he was brought up from... but that is one of the many opinions I really hope my eventual third watch will change.
