The removal of the streamers and ceremonial stand indicates that China held the Fujian aircraft carrier’s commissioning ceremony on November 5th but will release the news report and video of it on November 7th.

China loves teasing China watchers with the video and other media from the Fujian’s commissioning ceremony on November 5th. The government should announce the carrier’s commissioning tomorrow though.

In early September, a video showed two ZBD-04B Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV) on transport trailers on a highway outside of Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Camouflage netting covered the ZBD-04Bs’ hull and turret.

The Fujian aircraft carrier continued its voyage after leaving the Jiangnan Shipyard on September 10th. The carrier was escorted by the Sovremenny-class missile destroyer, the Hangzhou, and the Luyang-II missile destroyer, the Jinan, during its voyage.
