Avatar looks great so far but I wish it didn't carry over the worst card style from FF. Commissioned art would have been 1000x better than these low-res screenshots. Kill this style dead, its lazy and never looks good

Not giving them their subtitles from the tv intro is flavour crime. There's no such human who would rather play "the heart" than "party dude" or "the muscle" than "cool but rude"

As someone who loves Spidey and magic, I'm glad the set seems like its not gonna do that well. Any IP deserves better treatment than this and maybe the next equivalent won't be so half arsed if this one underperforms. Just gutted we didn't get a single good Peter Parker out of it

Hydro-man might be the most flavourful card in the set. He's most notable to me from about 2 seconds of the 90s tv intro. Any cool ideas? Gonna try and give him some counters/clones/more manlands and then perilous vault the board once he sinks into the drain at end step

Also the flavour on VD sounds cruel but I think it was an honest attempt to relieve the suffering of the Mirran refugees in the furnace layer
