I almost certainly won't be able to finish all the prompts this week, but I've made a very satisfying start to Days 1 & 2.

Maroon is from a little steampunk AU, and purple is some *ahem* misuse of certain spells.

Rolan snapped awake before finishing his thought, wheeling in his chair; somewhere in the stacks behind him, something metallic skittered across the hardwood floor. The sound sent chills up his neck to the tips of his ears. "Who-who's there?!" he shouted, trying and failing to deepen his voice. He braced himself against the chair's wooden arm to stand and cupped a lightning spell in the claw his other hand. Sparks danced between his fingers, illuminating the shadows in blue flashes. For a long while, there was nothing. Rolan's heart began to slow. A hallucination. A lack of sleep. Then, suddenly, the lightning in his hand flashed off the domed surface of something – a creature – darting between the bookshelves. "Show yourself!" Rolan demanded, the spell flaring to life again as he flung up his hand. Rolan gripped the base of Gale’s newly conjured tail and waited a beat to gauge his reaction. Rolan’s lip curled with self-satisfaction; as the pads of the tiefling’s fingers found a familiar, thin-skinned nerve—one of his own favorite sensitive spots—Gale let out a surprised grunt and beat a fist on the desk before steadying himself. The tail’s girth flickered in Rolan’s hand momentarily. “Concentrate, Gale,” he chided. “This is a novice test.” “Y-yes, sir,” Gale affirmed, gritting his teeth.

I’m working on music for a project coming out early next year. I’ve had a handful of people ask “omg how are you doing that??” Girl I don’t know. I have a literal degree in this and have not once felt like I’m doing a good job or been in a flow state until it’s over. Who let me do this??

Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. Gale and Aldiirn. Just look at those sops, all giddy and smiles after the battle. It made Astarion want to puke. THUNK! Astarion throws a dagger into a used potion bottle, wishing it was Gale's back instead. Of course those two would get closer. They had all the things in common. The cooking. Magic theory. Endless discussions about mushrooms. THUNK! Astarion's hopes of staying in Aldiirn's good graces shatter like his next target, an urn. Aldiirn would certainly still call on him for lockpicking and nosing around, maybe that would be enough to earn his dinner, but what about the little gifts, the sneaking away to loot, the little snort Aldiirn makes when he laughs-- THUNK! It's insufferable to think Astarion's about to lose it all to that lumbering yapping fool of a-- THUD.

Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. A battle has ended and Aldiirn is waiting for his magical sword to stop its unearthly shrieking. Under the din, a hopeful Gale speaks. "Hold on!" Aldiirn cuts him off, "I can't hear you over the sword." The shrieking sword stops and Aldiirn turns to give Gale his full attention. "That's better. What can I do for you, Gale?" "Fighting side by side with you has been exhilarating," Gale blushes. "I have a book describing how a brush with danger can increase one's arousal, if you'd care to join for some intimate research." Aldiirn freezes in place, processing every interaction he's had with Gale that could have lead to this moment and carefully blanking his face to hide the panic rising from deep inside. "AAAAAAA!" the sword in his hands shrieks again louder than ever before!

元々Borb（Bird/鳥 + Orb/玉）という「まんまるな鳥」を意味するスラングがあって、Birbは「まんまるとは限らないが、さりとてかわいいトリチャン」ぐらいの汎用的なポジションです。

Also drawing fat people is fun. Fat people are so beautiful. The curves and arcs and folds are so elegant and delightful to draw. The form is full and almost musical. Every time I get to draw a fat person its such a pleasure!

For the love of anything good left in this world, stop tagging your work M/M pairing when it’s really a M/M/F situation where both male characters are going for the lady. If M/M is not a couple don’t tag it that way. I’m tired of being tricked into het fic like that. And same applies to F/F pairs!
