73% of mothers with kids under 18 are in the workforce. More than flowers or brunch, working moms need:

-Paid family leave
-Equal pay
-Universal childcare

(But get your mom flowers, too)

2025 is bringing us to a red state. The worst DoD moving contract with the worst company, Home Safe Alliance. And a possible goods outage across the country while we are supposed to be driving 1100 miles.

It is now a fireable offense to be a civil servant with a moral code.
The DOJ lawyer who made the mistake of answering the court's questions about Abrego-Garcia candidly (eg yes he was mistakenly deported, a fact the Administration already has acknowledged), which got him put on administrative leave, has now been fired, ending his 15-year DOJ career..

Called my congressman who voted for the SAVE act.

Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?

If you are a commissioned officer in the U.S military and have not fully internalized the differences between your oath and that of the enlisted personnel you read I encourage you to read both, reflect on the differences and your role.

If you want to talk about this, reach out.
I have to occasionally remind officers of the important differences between enlisted and officer oaths.

It makes for awkward silence when they realize that they are, by design, the circuit breaker.

These guys don’t actually have the balls to defend Taiwan so “denial defense” is going to be the buzzword and when “denial defense” doesn’t work, they’ll retreat like the cowards they are
‘The new Pentagon guidance for a “denial defense” of Taiwan includes increasing the troop presence through submarines, bombers, unmanned ships, specialty units from the Army and Marine Corps, and a greater focus on bombs that destroy reinforced and subterranean targets.‘

Separate from the disinformation from malign actors; Americans don’t know what their government does, or how they do it.

Saying ‘the government has eleventy-million credit cards’ sounds excessive to anyone that doesn’t know it’s how federal employees track reimbursable travel expenses like this.
NEW: A source tells me that response teams for FEMA set to deploy to the South Carolina wildfires are unable to travel because their government issued travel cards have had their limits reduced to $1. FEMA response team cards were supposed to be exempt.
