That was my immediate thought, it looks like one of the model traffic areas near me.

I started playing The Seance of Blake Manor yesterday and just finished it, with 21 hours played. Lmao. Definitely up there with Obra Dinn and Golden Idol.

Now what is going on here?

Lady with like 300 followers who I have never heard of in my life and who I have no mutuals with, sub-tweets me (sub-threads?) and literally no one has engaged with it... and yet Threads knows to put it in my feed? That's some crazy work.

I have to admit it is VERY funny to have an expensive Aston Martin roll up with the loud, rumbly tuned exhaust and then suddenly shut off because it has the anti-idle thing.

I think the only thing I don't have in arms reach is the current clamp. 😂

First use today!

I've had one in my pocket since I was like 5 years old or something, even before I got my first rifle or motorcycle. I grew up in a National Forest though, a level of wilderness that doesn't exist in the UK. At this point it feels like a missing limb not having one handy.

my wife says to me every day about our cats

I mean it was pretty steady, "Ministry of War" -> extrajudicial killings (but they were bad people I promise) -> illegal invasion (you said it was ok as long as it's bad people).

Decided to double up on the titanium satin finish for replacements. 😂 Slipjoint utility is an interesting idea, like it so far but I hope I don't lose a finger. Lovely tools.

On the other end we've got stuff like Meta Ray-Ban Display and several other products that do a slightly more limited heads up display but just look like sunglasses. I think they are way more appealing because you don't look like a dork who spends too much money on Apple products.

Got any of those non-profit bike repair education places around?

I guess this guy named his car after Sigrid, so that's something.

Bumped heads with them more than a few times, I think the stabbing death basically gave them all the ammunition they needed.

Sadly dropped my pocket knife somewhere today while running errands. Carried it every day for 7 years, like losing an old friend. Also I can't afford £300 pocket knives any more so I'll have to get something less interesting.

It'd be faster to just cut the locks off with an angle grinder, which is what all the thieves carry. Bicycle parking has to be indoor and monitored to be secure in a low trust society like ours.
December 30, 2025 at 2:23 PM
I imagine the answer would be, "get a car and apply for a blue badge".
December 30, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Yeah it'd be nice if we had secure bicycle parking, huh.
December 30, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Well, hiking and running are long gone for me, but as long as I can cycle I'm happy. I want to put it off as long as possible, I'm still kind of youngish.

I swear to god no one better steal this bike. >:[

It's been 7 years now since I was told both hips need replacing, so who knows how long I can continue to defy the doctors. Cycling has made a huge, huge difference to my mobility and arthritis pain. It's a shame that society makes cycling so difficult.
