We talk a lot about legacy like it’s something we leave behind. But it’s also what we carry forward.
Women have always been here; writing, creating, thinking, resisting. But so often, their stories are lost or rewritten by others.

Elizabeth Robins 1862-1952 was born in the US but spent much of her time in the UK as a key figure in the suffragist movement - an actress and writer with a reputation for portraying strong female characters.
Some of her work is available on Project Gutenberg www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/autho...

Beatrice Harraden wasn’t just a best-selling author—she was deeply involved in the fight for women’s suffrage. A member of both the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU) and the Women’s Freedom League (WFL).

This month, we’re celebrating the work of the Brontë sisters! Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights was her only novel, published just a year before she died at 30. She never knew how enduring and influential her work would become. What are your thoughts on Wuthering Heights?
February 4, 2025 at 10:02 AM
Yesterday, Caroline and I had the joy of speaking with the accomplished author Essie Fox about one of her favorite books, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Essie is an elegant, intelligent force with a captivating charm, making it an absolute delight to discuss this brilliant work with her.
