We aren't the only ones to mourn pets, the Romans did too! They could be just as sad as anyone alive today when their dog died.

a rusted, half destroyed sign which once read something like, "dogs must be leashed at all times". enough of the face and finish has rusted off that it now says, "dogs at all times".
