Oops! I am new to this, should read DipWSET!! 🧐
Unbelievably, I am able to put WSETdip after my name as I received the result of my final exam today. It has been challenging at times but hugely rewarding and I am currently on cloud nine, should you need me!

Today happens to be the 45th anniversary of my accident that diverted my life in a different direction. It is always a cause for reflection. I feel very fortunate and will enjoy reflecting on my fortune with a glass of Albury Organic Vineyard sparkling.

Opinion | Liz Truss needs to take her own advice, and cease and desist

The sheer, glaring weirdness of a professed defender of free speech attempting to use the law to bully an internationally renowned barrister and King’s Counsel

I often show this image when explaining the affordability of wine. I think I saw it on one of your posts Gavin?

Well that was a fascinating short article and podcast on the history of the Welsh language.

My grandad was from Cardiff - and Welsh always felt ancient and magical to me, so I loved this. The podcast starts with a great bit about some ancient Welsh laws that were written down at the time!

There’s a fuss kicked up every time an English name for a Welsh landmark is replaced by the Welsh language name. Perhaps some awareness raising will help

There are still some notable absentees from this platform which has delayed me closing my Twitter (X) account but it feels like it won't be long before that has changed

I am hardly logging on to X anymore. I thought as a last fling I might throw a party for my followers. It would be heaving if all the bots turn up!
I’d describe myself as a centrist and feel at home here.
The right has X. The left has Bluesky. Centrists are homeless now.

A really interesting day at the Vineyard & Winery Show at the Kent Showground. Lots of people to catch up with and to discuss recent issues with. A great pleasure to meet Matthew Jukes and kind of him to give us some of his time.

Salvador Dalí (Spain 1904-1989). Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. He was also a great wine connoisseur, as can be seen in his book “The Wines of Gala,” a surrealist wine guide, originally published in 1978.
