The problem with the suns’ teambuilding attempts is that by getting raked over the coals in the KD trade, not only did the Suns have no assets to build, but 29 other front offices learned they can screw the suns over in asking price.

my only guess is the mavs, like the suns, know that we won't have an NBA in 2030
i just really don't understand why the mavs would assemble a solid athletic team assorted with shooting, athletes, and switchable / tenacious wings around their two elite shot creators, and then trade away their best young player for an aging (yet elite) two-way player

A couple of plays now Ryan Dunn has short rolled (think Draymond Green 4 on 3) and had Richards in the dunker spot. Both times he's opted for the floater -- 1 of 2. I think on the second one it had to be a lob to Richards, but hopefully he'll get that going soon.

Defense with Dunn and Richards -- even against a bad Nets team on a SEGABABA -- looks WAY more active than any of the starting minutes with Beal/Nurk starting.
