A tribunal in Dhaka sentenced Sheikh Hasina to death for her involvement in the use of deadly force against protesters last year. She fled to India and was sentenced in absentia.

I recently visited the ruined home of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It is not an expression of political opinion to say that the destruction points to criminal damage. Also, why on earth is the site now not cordoned off???? It’s dangerous yet ppl are climbing all over it! #Bangladesh
