We decided to jump on the food drive bandwagon with a twist of our own: we're partnering with @feedri401 to do an exclusively gluten-free food drive.

We want to ensure that nobody goes hungry during this shutdown, this holiday season, or ever.

It'll be raining soon and you need soup. Conveniently, we have ingredients for soup. We also have bread (including some kalamata olive ciabatta).

I hope y'all have a souper sunday

We have a very limited amount of pawpaws in store this weekend. They're tasty but remember: please do not cook/bake your pawpaws. Just trust us on this one.

Reminder: The Cuterie Cart is popping up with us THIS Saturday, October 11th from 12pm-330pm

And more exciting news: Loaves by Lyss is joining the fun! So fresh sourdough, spooky treats, and locally-sourced groceries. What more could you ask for?!
October 9, 2025 at 9:41 PM
We bought a few more shelves for the store so we can have our chips on shelves instead of building displays out of boxes. We opened the boxes to discover that they are slightly lighter than our existing shelves, only noticeable when they're side-by-side.

Update: Loaves with Lyss is joining the fun too so come get delicious sourdough! (She's also at @pawtucketmarket.bsky.social every Friday)
This Saturday, we have a special guest at the Corner. The Cuterie Cart will be set up outside our store with a dirt dessert bar from 12-3:30pm. Gluten-free and dairy-free options available!

PSA for those wanting to save money: I picked up some tomatoes from Confreda yesterday in honor of #RIGrown week. Retail $1.99/lb (before discounts)

These are conventional so you will want to make sure to wash thoroughly

Admittedly, we've been feeling sorry for ourselves because it's been SO SLOW.

A friend told me that she went to Market Basket today and it was empty. She asked the cashier wtf was going on and the cashier said that Wed was the slowest 1st of the month she's experienced in her years of working at MB

Super cool how we were going to throw a huge 2-year anniversary bash but then had to scrap all of our plans due to serious cash flow issues + delays with our brand kit update and now a competitor is throwing a huge party on our anniversary. It's basically rubbing salt in the wound.

Today should've been a $1000 day (we don't get those often) since there's a market on our street. We're still $27 from our normal sales goal (which is still less than we need to make in a day) with half an hour left

This Saturday is the Wickenden St Makers Market. We're a little bit down the road from the festivities so we're having a party of our own with Ligia's Pops and The Little Bubblegum Bookshop (and *maybe* a few others. Stay tuned)

Didn't get raptured? No worries, we're open today so you can restock your kitchen. We also have plenty of pastries and ice cream so you can drown your sorrows.

I recommend a sundae of Peach Cobbler ice cream from Big Feeling with ginger peach cobbler macarons from Celebrated (both are vegan)

Store is opening late today because it's seemingly not possible for me to do a Sunday farmers market AND get all of my work done

I spent more than I made today but sometimes it's worth it. Yet another store remodel (+other exciting things) coming soon
