Just received some solid edits to the first three chapters of my novel. I was holding my breath waiting to see what she had to say. Nothing earth shattering and she loves the storyline. Best of all she said she couldn’t wait to read more.

My first day back at work yesterday after two weeks was a 14 hour day.

With an event to pull off in 5 weeks, a new hire, several conferences this spring and other projects, you cant tell me a communications job is cushy.

Back at it today. Thankful to be employed, but ready for the weekend.

Unlocked a new life level this week.

Saw a former coworker on an episode of 48 Hours.

Sad story - his step daughter was murdered. Super surreal to see him on the screen and realize we had hung out with him many times in our NASA days.

So glad he got justice for his daughter. 💙

Had a little too much wine a few months ago and bought tix to see Winger. Tonight I reap what was sewn. 😂

It’s snowing here in Northern Virginia. I’m sitting at my desk with the space heater on and a homemade chai latte while I watch the light flurries swirl outside my window. Thankful to be safe and warm today.
