HHS released a 400-page report on gender dysphoria — but no authors are named.

A White House fact sheet says “eight distinguished scholars” wrote it, but scientists say that lack of attribution is highly unusual.@pauloffit.bsky.social @scottleibowitz.bsky.social

WPATH responds to the anonymously-authored Trump HHS 'report' on gender care. The HHS document attempts to erase the opinions of those with years of clinical experience & academic scholarship & perpetuates the harmful 'gender ideology' notion, which itself is ideological.

It is incumbent on LGBTQ health professionals to hone the message about stopping research on LGBTQ people. This impacts the health of ALL Americans. Until we do that, people who feel unaffected by LGBTQ health will continue to scroll past news stories like this.

This Ohio court decision recognizes & admonishes the needless suffering of families impacted by HB68. This life-saving care improves the quality of life for those who need it & care decisions should be left to the health professionals & families, not politicians.

The detrans people who I know, are longing for a day when their stories aren't being weaponized to eliminate care from everyone. That is the type of awareness they deserve so they can feel comfortable sharing their experiences openly & honestly, & to improve care.

Logic & reason has prevailed today. Unfortunately the mere introduction of these laws & EO’s do significant psychological harm to families and youth. Staying laser-focused on adhering to the Standard of Care remains crucial in the continued fight against the bans.

Let’s just think of all the dismantling as an opportunity to put it back together even better and more united than before when the pendulum swings back. Like the moon on the solstice, the pendulum is currently at its furthest point from the center. It is going to swing back.
