People often ask me how can I just draw every day and this is why. Inspiration either drives you or you need to drive yourself to get to the point.
Inspiration and Motivation are powerful, and you should seek out those when possible. But they only work in the short term, discipline needs to be cultivated, nurtured, and exercised. It is built through routine, even on the days you don't want to do the thing. Those are the days its more potent.
