”In 2024, Dutch Railways (NS) recorded a social profit of €1.33 billion, compared to a financial loss of €141 million.”

Electric public transport systems and active mobility infrastructure tend to return the investment to society ten-fold.

As a former client of Torben's for over a decade, I felt compelled to share how betrayed I was feeling after it emerged he was a prolific voyeur. Thanks to @thetimes.com for the giving me the platform to talk about this.

Did the voyeur osteopath Torben Hersborg secretly film me too?
Suzanne Bearne sometimes felt awkwardly exposed while being treated. Now she feels violated and fears he may have filmed her

As we know, use of AI is rocketing. But it's also known to hallucinate - to generate content that is irrelevant, made-up, or inconsistent. And many companies are bringing in professionals to fix the mistakes made by AI. I looked into this for the BBC:

'I'm being paid to fix issues caused by AI'
Businesses that rush to use AI to write content or computer code, often have to pay humans to fix it.

A lesson to check your entry and exit stamps: yesterday at the Guatemalan border I was taken into the immigration office after they noticed there was no entry stamp on my passport (I entered legally!). Cue negotiating a cash request of the equivalent of £80 down to £35 (all the money I had on me).
