Going on vacation tomorrow so spent Saturday night making maps of all the places in Ohio, West Virginia and South Carolina with higher violent crime and murder rates than D.C. Perhaps better places for those governors to focus resources!

More people in Ohio need protection from violent crime than do people in D.C.
Governors of three states — Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia — are sending members of their state National Guards to D.C. to … well, theoretically to combat crime but, if the past week is any in...

Watching this year's NBA playoffs has made me want a sports stats app with a "time machine" feature more than anything in the world.

You know, so you can watch the game on tape delay, but also look at stats, from the time in the game you're at, without spoiling the end for yourself.

Trump’s Sec of Agriculture Brooke Rollins says the solution to high egg prices for Americans is to get some chickens and raise them in your backyard.

It has recently become clear to me that you cannot truly be seen as someone who will "change the world" for good unless you allow yourself to be seen.

Which is sad for me because I have never wanted to be seen, like ever in my life.

Can I change the world for good and just be invisible? Please?

I find it's important to listen to news from both political sides if for no other reason than to understand how those who disagree with you think. But it matters who you listen to, i.e. don't pick your opponent's dummies just to make fun of them.

I read am interview between Ross Douthat (#NYT) and Marc Andreeson this AM and it was mindboggling. The interviewer, openly conservative politically, is conversing with a tech billionaire who always considered himself a Democrat, until 2024 when he voted for trump...

There are distinct differences between Republicans and Democrats.

Their misuse of power disrespect for traditions, greed, misuse of power and propaganda campaigns have eroded the expected norms for those holding positions of responsibility.

I question if it will ever go back.

For all the ways the corporations of the world try to get you to buy shit you don't need in quantity and quality you don't want so that they have enough profit to buy back enough shares to keep their stock price up so their "leaders" can cash in their options...

We need better leaders.

GET F*ING REAL AND SHARE SOME F*ING JOY!

Tell me something good.

What good thing happened in your life this week?

Moved in, moved up, or moved on, whatever moved you this week is fine.

The truth of what happened and is happening is all here for those who seek and find accurate information.

There never has been a more corrupt administration than the one moving into the White House after the inauguration of treasonous President #47.

What we really need to do to make the internet and social media a better place to be, very generally speaking, is to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR OWN ALGORITHMS.

What you get back is EXACTLY what you asked for. And then it tries to drive you deeper into isolation.

Stay connected and civil.
