Reading between the lines following Newcastle’s statement, the gentleman’s agreement Isak thought he had must have been with Dan Ashworth or Paul Mitchell. Jack Ross was only appointed this summer so the club is distancing itself from previous club officials actions. Isak’s camp see it differently

Wow man. A man in a wheelchair raging and shouting racial abuse at an opposition player. Where do you even begin with that? Clearly so filled with hatred that he doesn’t realise 5 of our starting 11, 6 if you include Mo Salah are people of colour?? Don’t care what life has thrown at you dude.

I didn’t boo but I was livid with how Alexander-Arnold behaved towards the club and the fans. I was keen for him to be sold to Madrid before the parade so he wouldn’t be around. No more to say really. Be gone. Arrivederci. Auf wiedersehen. No tears. And certainly no respect and even less love #lfc
