Morning thought about 2024 election: Biden made us so comfortable in our country again, that it was not forefront in everyone's mind to vote. Not to mention people's memories of a pandemic so poorly handled in 2020, they just didn't show up because Biden fixed about everything, albeit quietly.

Normalizing the idea of a third Trump term, even as a ‘theory,’ is wildly irresponsible. We need reporters who challenge authoritarian impulses, not those who entertain them.

I see that the United States' peculiar brand of Christian Nationalism includes judging the poor for needing SNAP benefits (judging is something Jesus said *not to* do) but not helping the poor with SNAP benefits (helping the poor is something Jesus told them *to* do).
