So proud of these brilliant women speaking out on behalf of families and children in poverty. They’ve been giving evidence to Stormont’s Communities Committee. Their challenge - why are children here being left behind compared to rest of UK. (Atlas Women’s Centre/ Women’s Support Network / NIAPN)

It’s the news we’ve been advocating for! The scrapping of the 2-child limit is a powerful step forward for the 1 in 10 families impacted here! @savechildrenuk.bsky.social

We welcome this bold action by the Chancellor to scrap the two-child limit. By the end of this Parliament, 450,000 children across the country will have been lifted out of poverty. Scrapping this unjust policy is the single most powerful step to reduce child poverty in a generation.

We’re heading to Stormont to stand with other organisations in a final push to have the 2-Child Limit fully scrapped in the Budget. The Chancellor has the power to help many families here! All children deserve a decent start in life. @Trusselluk #everychildcounts

It was brilliant to participate in today's conference and roundtable on International Humanitarian Law with Irish Red Cross. Really timely discussion in the face of increasing violations of IHL and erosion of norms - with children paying a particularly devastating price.

A partial lifting of the two-child limit at the Autumn Budget would still leave child poverty rising and would risk creating levels of hardship not seen under a Labour government for more than half a century.

It must be scrapped *in full*.

It's not just us that wants you to scrap the two-child limit to benefits Rachel Reeves, over 40 economists, academics & policy experts back us too.

Removing this cruel policy at the Autumn Budget in full doesn't only make moral sense, it makes economic sense.
