Bugonia (2025) Fuck, this was kinda like...genius shit? That's 3 bangers in a row from Yorgy, I need to go back and dig his back catalog. I didn't like 'Deer' at the time, but very willing to revisit now that I know things I didn't used to. Also, POTA display at Alamo-Lakeline!

Tales to Keep You Awake: The Case of Mr. Valdemar (1982-TV) Edgar Allan Poe's classic about a discredited mesmerist who keeps a terminal colleague alive through hyponotism was remade with much of the same cast, having previously been filmed for the show's first season in 1966.

The Devil's Possessed (1974) A formerly noble and brave soldier, Baron Paul Naschy turns to alchemy and tyranny to gain power after feeling slighted by the king. Too much knights and swords and not enough devils and possessed for my money. And no sex. I did not like this one from León Klimovsky

Watched about 20 minutes of the 2nd most recent Jurassic Park movie, Dominion, before remembering "Oh yeah, I don't like these" but for a brief moment I thought they might find a mosquito with Dolemite's DNA and he could karate kick these dinosaur-soup eatin' motherfuckers back to the Stone Age

The Candy Snatchers (1973) Amateur kidnappers bury a teenage girl underground with a pipe for air and wait for daddy to cough up the ransom. Then they wait some more. And some more. Crooks didn't do their homework. This plot must be seen to be believed #CoorsBreakfastOfChampions

After over an hour lighting delay, it was on for the B-52 and DEVO at Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Unfortunately, Lene Lovich got bumped.

The Vault of Horror (1973) Five strangers take an elevator ride to a basement where there they each tell their own tale of their well deserved demise in this Amicus anthology based in old EC comics. "Midnight Mess" with the vampire restaurant is near the top of my anthology segment faves.

Dracula (1931) commonly referred to as "Spanish Dracula" was filmed in the wee hours of morning on the same sets as the American version with a different cast. Very good movie, longer, with a whole lot of Renfield, and not a whole lot of costume for the lovely Lupita Tovar.

Immoral Tales (1973) Grandma locks girl in room for acting horny at church with only 2 zucchini to eat for dinner. What did she THINK she was gonna do with them? Also in this French erotic anthology are Blowjob Cousins, and a Pope who serves guests jizz-cookies and drawings of horse dicks. (1/2)

Halloweens Past: NAUGHTY was in 2009, my best costume ever, strangers were asking for pics. DEVO was 2011 (and several times since) I wanna say this was at a Danzig/Samhain/Misfits extravaganza at the Universal Amphitheater. Did I dream that?
