she did admit something i already knew, which is that there is not much adoption-focused training in most post-graduate programs and when there is, a lot of the materials come from adoption agencies. it's a huge issue. adoptees need therapy but where can we get informed care? 🥚
trying to plan out the best time to send stressful biological family emails and text messages so that the time period where i am an anxious useless mess occurs when it causes the least damage. even my therapist was like "buddy this is complex shit" lmao. yeah, yeah it is. 🥚
