Why does Calgary Cllr Chabot dislike transit so much? Especially when his Ward 10 constituents are transit users? Someone please help me to understand this...
Council is now debating an amendment from Ward 10 Coun. Andre Chabot that aims to cut transit for kids under 12 and eliminate the downtown free fare zone on the CTrain. It would also increase a single ride fare to $4.

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

It’s no surprise that over a third of the UCP caucus has recall petitions filed against them. Scandal after scandal has left people exhausted with this government.

One of my favorite things about NYC is that the entire fleet of NYC ferries was named by 2nd graders. I think about this every time my run takes me past the docks.

Anyway, there are people who went to work this morning aboard The Tooth Ferry and the Ocean Queen Rockstar.

Wait times, understaffing, and access issues won't be fixed by forcing people to pay to see a doctor.

Today, November 24, 2025 it snowed in Calgary. That's not unusual, Environment Canada says we had 20.8 cm of snow on November 23, 2024. Last year! Buses in Calgary went on snow routes, because we don't fund Calgary Transit for weather conditions (no snow tires so a bus can get up a hill, etc.) 1/

But @ABDanielleSmith is the most vicious idiot of a premier we've ever had! #FireTheUCP #ElectionNow #NoToNotWithstanding #DefendTransRights
