Layoffs have hit over 1.1M so far this year — the most since the pandemic.

Yet corporate profits continue to hit record highs, with corporations increasingly spending those earnings on stock buybacks to enrich execs and shareholders.

This is what a rigged economy looks like.

So far, in less than one year, Donald Trump has issued over TEN TIMES as many pardons as he did in his entire four-year first term. That’s a lot of criminals released onto our streets.

The only people thriving under this administration are criminals.
Trump just gave a commutation to David Gentile, a private equity executive who defrauded investors of $1.6B.

Meanwhile, Trump's regime has also scrapped enforcement actions against over 160 corporations accused of misconduct.

A new Golden Age for corporate criminals.

This is why things have to be approved and appropriated by Congress. There is a process for these things that includes funding, and having government employees manage projects. It should never be "just a POTUS making a decisions with private money" because this is the USA stiffing contractors.
Everyone saw this coming.

Trump stiffed his contractors, then fell out w/his architect because he refused to back his demand for a ballroom bigger than the WH.

And those corporate donations he keeps bragging about are pledges, not real money. Taxpayers will end up on the hook one way or another.

Has anyone at CNBC checked the price of an iPhone lately?

We were in a big retail store a few days ago and I saw some sort of Android phone that looked like it had a nicer screen on it than my (almost new iPhone) and it was like $30. I think it required some kind of pay-as-you-go plan. But still.
If a phone still works fine, it’s not “device hoarding” to keep using it. It’s common sense.

Unavoidable conclusion: SCOTUS has put 1 man in America above the law & created a king. Not the first time a case has been decided wrong. The fix for democracy lies, as it did in Dred Scott, with fixing a broken decision. Hopefully this one won’t require a civil war. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/26/u...

Over a quarter of Trump's proposed $1T military budget would go to just four companies who have spent $103B in taxpayer dollars on stock buybacks and dividends over the last decade.

He wants to use your money to make the military-industrial complex even richer.

They all have lucrative government contracts — and they're all donors to Trump's ballroom.
