It’s depressing and infuriating to live in a country that can only muster up 15 Senate votes to stop actively arming a state committing genocide. It’s the bare minimum, and yet still a bridge too far for our sacred, imperial empire. Disgraceful.

Incredible thing to write and publish while a video, taken by an IDF soldier, of dogs eating the carcass of a murdered Palestinian circulates on social media—not an outlier of Israeli treatment of the Palestinians they’ve killed, but the norm.

Had a discussion at work this week where I was side eyeing someone for saying vanilla will be a trending note in 2025. Discussion led to Vanilla Fields, which my coworker thought was when vanilla started trending & has never stopped.

weird how columnists at the NYTimes are always “bucking liberal-left conventional wisdom” and never the premises of US imperialism, or austerity politics or anything that could offend, in the slightest, traditional pillars of power

The Environmental Quality Authority in Palestine reports over 85,000 tonnes of bombs dropped by Israel in Gaza. That’s equivalent to six Hiroshima atomic bombs on a strip of land smaller than Detroit.

Almost all of those bombs were supplied by our government, paid for by our tax dollars.

I use number 3 at work all the time. I never tell anyone they’re wrong when they smell something I don’t. I feel my job is to make perfume more accessible, and joyful for everyone!
'Making Scents Make Sense' isn't just a name to me, it's a manifesto. It's my philosophy for communicating the often mysterious and inaccessible world of scent.
