It’s depressing and infuriating to live in a country that can only muster up 15 Senate votes to stop actively arming a state committing genocide. It’s the bare minimum, and yet still a bridge too far for our sacred, imperial empire. Disgraceful.

On this day in 1976, Palestinians united in protest against Israel after it announced plans to steal thousands of acres of land from Palestinian citizens of Israel.

Incredible thing to write and publish while a video, taken by an IDF soldier, of dogs eating the carcass of a murdered Palestinian circulates on social media—not an outlier of Israeli treatment of the Palestinians they’ve killed, but the norm.

As a someone who is not Palestinian, I am disgusted he is here. He should have been arrested the second he touched down here.

The Environmental Quality Authority in Palestine reports over 85,000 tonnes of bombs dropped by Israel in Gaza. That’s equivalent to six Hiroshima atomic bombs on a strip of land smaller than Detroit.

Almost all of those bombs were supplied by our government, paid for by our tax dollars.
