My two cents on the Kirk thing that I can’t believe I haven’t seen anyone else point out: Killing someone is bad, but sometimes bad actions have good consequences. It’s why deontologists and utilitarians have like, disagreements and stuff.

When the US began to strip trans people of rights, revert documentation, move trans women to men's prisons, censor research, and move towards healthcare bans, most cis people posted things like "the government can't tell you who you are!"

As someone who’s been told I have a talent for drawing. None of this feels easy. I’m looking ahead at thousands of hours of frustration before I can do the stuff that I want. But not a bone in me wants to skip it. Because of if I did I’d have to face God knowing I rejected the act of creation.
Honestly this is an excuse.
I know plenty of people who are not “naturally gifted” who do art.
It requires effort to learn. I feel you did not approach it correctly or think things happen over night.
Also hard work and skill is not “naturally gifted” as that undermines their efforts to draw.
