Now that "A Christmas Carol" is again up and running at the Guthrie, wanted to post this quote from my kid upon seeing it for the first time several years ago when he was 7:

"If I were in an exploration of Scrooge's life, I would just say, 'No thanks!' to Marley when I first met him."

With RFK Jr. at the wheel we ALL must remain vigilant.

As flu season begins in the US, following the deadliest flu outbreak in children outside of a pandemic since record-keeping began in 2004, pediatricians are taking the lead on vaccine messaging. CDC says NOTHING!

A flu strain that emerged over the summer is causing "unprecedented" outbreaks in Japan, as well as in Canada and the U.K. The CDC hasn't provided insights on flu in the U.S. in nearly two months.

Minnesota? This is true for us, too, isn't it?
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

🚨 We’re hearing that Senate Democrats are on the verge of caving to Trump in another “Schumer Surrender.”

That means your Democratic senators need to hear from you right now.

I just used the @5calls.org app to call my reps and encourage them not to cave and hand the GOP a blank check in exchange for ending the govt. shut down. They give you a script and phone numbers for local offices. It's easy to do and worthwhile!

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
