It's been a good month for my sci-fi scripts. My pilot, M-CAP2, won StoryPros' combined sci-fi/fantasy/horror category. And yesterday I found out my feature, THE COMMUNING ENGINE, is a quarterfinalist in the PAGE Awards (top 10% out of ~10k submissions), moving on to the next level in competition. 🎉

as someone who has disabilities, I am really tired of AI proponents using the disability argument. It's demeaning to us, infantilizes us, and doesn't help

If they really wanted to help, they would build accessible cities and make existing ones more accessible. But they don't care about us

I've been knee deep in revisions on 5 scripts the past 3 weeks, each for different reasons. It's been good mental exercise -- and more fun than I expected. Hopefully it'll be worth the time and effort. Nice to take a break today though -- such a perfect LA day outside. (Photo from my walk.)
