Communist, anarchist, progressive, conservative, democrat, republican... whatever label you decided to call yourself for whatever reason, idgaf, if we ever have to sit in the same trench against the same dictatorship, as long as your rifle is aiming at the same target, we are buddies. Get it? #3E

If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages

The same capitalists who are crushing us want to discourage us from making art by stealing our work to train their models and replacing us professionally. But again, art is a tool of survival. We need to create privately. We need to make real work with our hands. We don’t have to post. It’s ours.

It’s also important to remember that during crisis, making art saves people. It gives an outlet for pain, it allows us to imagine better, it records, and it gives us a voice. There’s a reason why there’s a huge push for art to be replaced by AI. They want to take away one of our best survival tools.

Something is happening. People are heading for DC. Idk what but there’s a mass call right now for everyone to go to Pennsylvania Ave. One man posted to social media that he was heading to DC and not coming back until it’s over. He then packed up the back of his truck. He said “I’ve had enough”

It is precisely because education is(was?✨) the primary tool of oppression of people around the world, that we should conclude and uphold that education holds the key to growth and reconciliation🌱🪿💕

The United States makes up 4.4% of the world’s population, and consumes over 80% of the world’s opioids. (MN Dept. of Health)
Immigrants, documented or not, have nothing to do with it.

If ever there was a time that the world needed your art, it is now. Create. Dream. Vision. PROTEST.

Whatever form it takes, step into your art. The world longs for change and our art, in its myriad forms, is the lifeblood of inspiration.

☀️🌎🩵Climate things you can do today to make yourself feel a little better:

- Drink tap water
- Wear something out of the laundry hamper
- Oil your bicycle chain
- Take a thing made of / wrapped in plastic out of your grocery cart

When we can't move forward we can still face the right direction

There is this thing I call The Imposition of Seriousness by the Cars. Because we've made everything car-centric, being outside has to be 100% serious business. Walk in straight lines! Keep up the pace! Check if the sign says you can go! NEVER get distracted! Make way for anything bigger or faster!
Rather than pausing to linger, American pedestrians are racing through streets – and doing so alone.

A new study from Ed Glaeser, Carlo Ratti, et al. raises troubling questions about the decline of streetlife.

What Happened to Hanging Out on the Street?
Urban pedestrians are walking faster and doing less socializing, according to a new study of NYC, Boston and Philadelphia. Is technology to blame, or public space itself?

A friend of mine asked how we bring down an oligarchy.

It turns out Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle wrote on this very topic after studying the governance of 150 city-states.

We need need strategic patience and alternative networks.

"Fossil fuels are losing their grip on EU energy. At the start of the European Green Deal in 2019, few thought the EU’s energy transition could be where it is today; wind and solar are pushing coal to the margins and forcing gas into structural decline"

Big new @ember-energy.org report on EU energy
European Electricity Review 2025 | Ember
The EU’s electricity transition continued at pace in 2024, as solar overtook coal for the first time and gas declined for the fifth year in a row.
