A chalk promontory sticks out from the cliffs into the English Channel. The layers than make up the rock can be clearly seen. At the base of the cliff the calm waters are turned a milky green by the chalk being washed out of the cliffs by the sea.

'Muscling In'

Lake Butrint in Albania is well known for its mussel farming due to its unique combination of fresh/saltwater.

The method being used here is bouchot where the Mussels are farmed on wooden poles, with ropes wound around them.
