We tried a Toxoplasma inactivated multistage vaccine in pigs. It showed to be safe and immunogenic, and able to reduce tissue cyst formation. rdcu.be/eNAau

New paper out! We design a new murine model of oral infection with oocysts from a recently obtained Type III isolate, TgShSp24. This novel model better mimic natural infection and provides a valuable tool for testing drugs and vaccines. rdcu.be/egFjv

We recently showed that BKI-1748 is a very promising drug that effectively prevents abortion and vertical transmission of Toxoplasma when administered 2 days post-infection in pregnant sheep.
