Saw AIDA at the Met and was impressed with SeokJong Baek, who stepped in at the last minute because Piotr Beczała got sick. But the most entertaining portion was @salmazohdi.bsky.social telling me they use the Grand March during graduation ceremonies in Egypt. Things you learn with a dramaturg!
