Just saw a nice post on Insta from @waterstoneskids.bsky.social, with #MichaelMorpurgo talking about his new book, Cobweb - which I'm using as an excuse for blatant self-promotion! I've been very fortunate to illustrate several new covers for the recent re-release of his back-catalogue. #kidlitart

Over the next few weeks I'll be illustrating the sequel to Wolf Road by @profaliceroberts.bsky.social. It's been a year since I've worked in charcoal so I hope the muscle memory is still there! I made a couple of these time-lapses while doing Book One which are handy for reminding me of the process!
