It would be remiss of me not to thank the @ladiesofdarkness.bsky.social and No Half Measures Collective. It's their beer, their idea, their cleaning up after me.

This was a fabulous surprise @salfordbeerfest.bsky.social the other week; a real eye opener even to those that might not normally gravitate towards Flanders style on the sour beer spectrum.

Starting life as a classic, Brown Ale with citrus US hops is transformed after 12 months in oak with Belgian yeast.
The result? Full-bodied, silky smooth, with a perfect marriage of fruity funk, orange/clementine, and a complex Flanders-type balsamic note.
