First free time in a while that I managed to get a campaign #Battletech mission in. Hermes II M did well enough! Even if I took an SRM that knocked my unconscious turn 3 😂.

More #battletech events i've been running at our FLGS - this time was KartTech! All basic light mechs, points for kills and laps, but with crazy OP powerups for one-shot weapons and movement, etc. (and i swear that the timing with the recent Mario Kart release was a happy accident 😅 )

Haven't been posting detailed campaign BatReps lately, as I've been more focused on organizing and running events for the LGS!
Last month had our 2nd annual Urbie Derby. Last weekend was a Clan Invasion event with 4 corridors (tables) being defended by IS attendees!
Later this month is KartTech 😂

I think it was the entry for Jenny Umbra, in TRO 3025, I have always attached a feminine connotation to the Firestarter. So I leaned into a more svelte look. Flames are ass, tho

Played #Battletech encounters for the 2nd time today. The rules arent super intuitive to pick up at first on your own, but once you get the gist of it I enjoy it quite a bit! Not too long of a game either

First game of Lords of Waterdeep - while the rules are easy to grasp quickly, strategy is not. My tactics included "ooh gimmie coins" and "I want the quest that says 'Domesticate Owlbears' pls". 😁
Still came in 3rd, 10/10 would accumulate coins and owlbears again.

Other #Battletech game last week was what my FLGS community lovingly refer to as 'Clananigans' - aka an excuse to have a big multiplayer game and use Clan mechs, which a lot of ppl there don't play much of otherwise. 9 players, 3 teams of 3, and total chaotic dezgra on a huge map. I fell a lot 😅

Other #Battletech game last week was what my FLGS community lovingly refer to as 'Clananigans' - aka an excuse to have a big multiplayer game and use Clan mechs, which a lot of ppl there don't play much of otherwise. 9 players, 3 teams of 3, and total chaotic dezgra on a huge map. I fell a lot 😅
Got in 2 #battletech games last week. Got to use some mechs for the first time: Scorpion, Ostroc, Devastator, and Charger 3K (which kicked off a Hatamotochi's head!) Quads are much more fun than they seemed on paper to me the first time i read about 'em - def recommend you give QuadMechs a shot!

Bluesky's discovery algo can be strange sometimes.
Today it just decided I should try to get into soccer. Literally 4 out of every 5 posts on my discovery feed.
I don't think I follow or liked a single sports related-thing on this platform? 🤣 And why the hell would it pick SOCCER first??

#Battletech Campaign mission 🧵! Red Seal Merc Collective hired by a mining co to retrieve a data-pack from a previously attacked ComStar base, with info on a Germanium deposit on planet. Some ComStar survivors left around, and they hired Davion mercs to reinforce them.

I think it looks dope - even if the new box doesn't offer anything radically new or exciting, the new minis are cool enough to justify it to me. I'm in!

Vulcan, Axman 2N mini, Mongoose. And the Nightstar official art is a bad angle, but the miniature is so cool looking once painted up - its top down perspective (which you mostly see while playing) is such a cool silhouette!

Also got to table my kitbashed Hauptmann in the last game - i don't ever play Dark Age or IlClan era, so figured turning the Regent into a similar looking Civil War mech would let me actually use it! (i'm not a great kitbasher obviously but i had fun with it 👍 made 0 attempt to invert the legs 😆)
