Do not use LLMs for information. Of any kind. It does not *know* anything.

Press is doing a great job of basically doxxing potential jurors
Belatedly: Judge Merchan dismissed Juror #2 this morning (just before the press admonishment at the top of my thread) after she said that on reflection she didn't think she could "avoid outside pressures." She said friends and colleagues had been asking her if she was a juror.

A sad day. We often discount the importance of children’s books and their authors, but the imprint they leave on our lives is far greater than we often realize. Authors like de Brunhoff are as worthy of respect as those of so-called “real” literature for adults.

A Roman 'fridge', unearthed in 2022 in the legionary fort of Novae, Bulgaria. It's a kind of container made of tiles that was embedded under the floor. It was used by the soldiers to store food. In the container fragments of pottery and animal bones were found. 🏺
