Lots of people can’t protest and I think @prisonculture.bsky.social’s guide on other actions is really useful: docs.google.com/document/d/1.... Everyone has a part they can play from where they’re at.

INCREDIBLE Ruling!

Judge Reyes just ruled that transgender people have served honorably in the military, judges Trumps trans military ban - which states trans people are inherently dishonorable - as unconstitutional and motivated by animus.

Trans military members may continue to serve.

Spoonerism is an actual sport in my family.
William Archibald Spooner (1844-1930) was a British clergyman/educator.

He was famous for saying things like "a blushing crow" instead of "a crushing blow."

Today, a 'spoonerism' means "a transposition of usually initial sounds of two or more words."

As an ER nurse I’m watching this closely. EMTALA is the backbone of our practice.

Grateful to the St. Luke’s hospital system which is stepping in to take over the case.

The Guardian is reporting that Trump is openly violating a court order, and has transferred multiple transgender women to men's facilities.

We know in Florida, transgender women are having their hair shorn, feminine items confiscated, and pulled off medication.

This is inhumane and illegal.

1. A Federal Judge has blocked Trump's under 19 trans care ban nationwide.

In the decision, he slams the Government's reliance on the Cass Review, jeopardizes youth health, and likely violates several constitutional principles.

The ruling applies nationwide, and should allow hospitals that temporarily paused care to resume.

It’s been helpful to get up every morning and ask myself, “what hills do I want to die on today?”

Because I can’t die on all the hills all the time. It’s good to take a breath and choose carefully. Saving my spoons for the long haul, y’all.
